MATERIALS/ EQUIPMENT |
Ø Sports equipment Ø Space suitable for sports activities Ø Flipchart/Pen |
HOW TO DO IT |
Ø Divide your mixed team in 2 groups Ø Make sure that family members are in the same group Ø Ask them to brainstorm for a while within their groups and come up with new rules for the sport you are doing Ø Each family pair of each group needs to come up with one rule Ø Allow them to present these rules to the other group (both groups do the same) Ø Play the game following the rules of each group in turns Ø To make it more challenging you can add all rules of both groups in the same game |
DEBRIEFING |
Ø Did they feel creative in the process? Ø Was it fun and entertaining? Ø Were they supported by their family members in the process? Ø Did they feel more confident to share their ideas because they had their family member there? Ø Was it an easy task to create a rule in cooperation with their family member? |
