Dimitris Mattas has been a football player in the past, serving the last years of his career in the men’s team of AEET 2007 sports club. For the last few years, though, he decided to dedicate his efforts in training young and older athletes in his favorite sport, and has undertaken the role of the head coach in the men’s team as well as the football academies of AEET, with children aged from 5 to 16 years old. Following the values and the mission of AEET, Dimitris has invested his efforts in promoting the importance of family sports activities, by organizing and implementing such initiatives as a means to bring family members together in a fun, educating and informal environment and support them in communicating, cooperating and enjoying some free time as a family.
